Meet your candidate:

Darrell Ashley Dudney

Ash Dudney, business owner in Ybor City, running for city council

Tampa Native - Business Owner - Community Advocate

Born and raised in Tampa, I’m the third-generation business owner of a local tux shop, owner of two small retail shops in West Ybor, a father, a creative, and a fierce advocate for letting Tampa be Tampa.

You’ll more than likely get to know me by the name “Ash”, but I went full government name for the campaign.

I believe in supporting the working class, education, redemption, equality, and progress. My specialty is creative small business solutions, my passion is environmentalism.

I’m running because I believe I can be an impartial and communicative liaison between our community and city hall. This position doesn’t hinge on what I want or believe - it’s what we as a community want and need. My process for problem solving comes down to two questions: Is this answer morally sound? Does the math add up? If we can find solutions for our district that satisfy those two answers, we’re in business.

Stick up for the locals, put development on a leash, fight the good fight.
